Just the way design research grows and defines itself, the HEFT develops: it questions, collects, files and links. HEFT is a magazine giving first insight into a wide and complex topic. Each issue starts with several questions. The content is the collection of the answers, filed in alphabetical order. Keywords from the content create an index. And the index links all topics and serves as a base for new questions – the next issue.

All type cuts are based on one single type, transformed to the extremes. The adaptable grid distinguishes the various forms of articles just by size and type.
